4. Scope of Services

Draco Freight Logistics provides logistics and transportation coordination services. Depending on the shipment, we may act as:

  • Freight Forwarder
  • Customs Broker
  • Carrier
  • Warehouse Operator
  • Agent for third-party carriers

Specific services may be subject to separate service agreements, bills of lading, air waybills, warehouse receipts, or other transport documents, which may contain additional terms and liability limitations.

We do not transport:

  • Human remains
  • Hunting trophies
  • Household goods (personal relocation shipments)
  • Pets or live animals

5. Customer Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Properly package cargo for transport
  • Comply with all export, import, customs, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure hazardous cargo is declared and documented correctly
  • Pay all agreed charges, duties, taxes, and related costs

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable international trade laws, including export control and sanctions regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the extent provided under applicable international conventions (e.g., Montreal Convention, Hague-Visby Rules), domestic transport laws, or agreed contractual terms.

7. Cargo Insurance

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, shipments are not automatically insured.

We can arrange cargo insurance upon request. It is your responsibility to:

  • Request insurance coverage
  • Declare accurate cargo value

Failure to insure your cargo may significantly limit recoverable compensation in case of loss or damage.

8. Warehousing and Storage

For warehousing and bonded storage services:

  • Storage fees, handling charges, and related costs apply as agreed.
  • Goods may be subject to warehouse liens for unpaid charges.

Storage periods and liability limits may be defined in separate warehouse agreements or receipts.

Perishable or temperature-controlled cargo must be declared in advance and comply with all handling requirements.
